After a successful job in Seattle, Mauser, their employer, assigned Roen, Rabies, Audra, and "Ray" a new task. They were requested to seek out the leader of the Keepers of the Flame at the "School of Higher Learning" in Rivertown, or what used to be the city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Unaware of the tension between factions in the city and the surrounding area, this group is about to stumble into a mine field that's just waiting to explode. Aside from the Keepers of the Flame, there's the Curators, who like the Keepers, also have a knack for technology and innovation. Then there's Rivertown's MPD, who shoot first and ask questions second. They have multiple outposts in the Rivertown area.
All three of these groups have had a history of occasionally trouncing on each other's feet, and as hostilities escalate it's only a matter of time before Rivertown becomes engulfed in street warfare.
